Authenticity of Certificates

The SBSSV, which also operates internationally under the name ÖSSV, awards certificates upon successful completion of Level 1, 2, or 3 training programs. These certifications may also be issued in cooperation with partner organizations, such as CASA International through the ASIC program.

All certificates are issued in accordance with the legal framework of the Province of Salzburg and are fully valid.

Please note: as indicated on the certificates themselves, if you intend to work in Austria, an official recognition by the relevant authorities is required. This process includes a mandatory German language test. However, the English-language certificate—without a German test—remains a valid certification. This means a German language test is only needed if you want to work in Austria an doesn’t change the validity of the english certificate.
