Evaluation and comparison of the equivalence of different qualifications

If you have already completed your training in another system, you are welcome to join the Austrian system. Below you will find a brief comparison of Austrian training levels compared to other countries to help you understand the structure.

For example, if you have completed CSIA Levels 1, 2, and 3, as well as First Aid training, and would like to enter our Level 2 program, please send us an email at international@sbssv.at and attach your Canadian certificates.

Please note that training duration and course content vary from country to country. Therefore, not all qualification levels are directly equivalent, which is why we have this comparison.

If you hold a qualification from an association not listed here, please feel free to contact us by email.

If you are required to complete a bridging examination, this means that not all subjects of the Austrian training program are covered by your previous qualification and that certain modules need to be completed. In this case, please also send us an email so that we can arrange an examination date together.
